I want to start by saying that these guys are great when it comes to customer service and punctuality. Katie worked closely with me on making sure I received my bumper, because I was in a unique situation where I wanted to change the shipping address to my job site 4.5 hours from home. I ended up having to get my brother to pick the bumper up from the shipping company, which wasn’t a problem, but the only thing is that when I finally laid my own eyes on it after unwrapping, there were a few deep scratches and now it’s been on my truck for 2 weeks and I’m noticing rust coming from one of the tubes that wasn’t welded completely around. Since I wasn’t the one to pick it up and inspect it, I couldn’t return for a new one nor did I want the headache, so I went ahead and installed it anyway. It seems to be a solid bumper, it’s just the dings in it that make me wish I would’ve been the one to receive it. Also, since it has been installed, as soon as I hit 60 mph there is a very annoying whistle that I absolutely cannot figure out where exactly it’s coming from. I’ve never had or heard of that problem before with aftermarket bumpers, but it is what it is at this point. I wish I could say I’m 100% satisfied but I’m more along the “eh” side of it. Not saying I wouldn’t buy again for another truck, just saying that they need a quality control guy going around checking these bumpers before they send them out. It looks mean, and I like it, but I’m a little disappointed on the quality control. To their defense, Katie did say to inspect it well before signing for it, and I told my brother to do so, but it was so wrapped up in foam and the clear packing wrap that he didn’t want to tear it all apart at the trucking company just to tear it up hauling it home. I was the one to finally unwrap it from its protective foam to see the dings and dents in it after it being received and signed for. I do wish that it would’ve been in perfect condition, not only since I paid $1k for it, but because I take really good care of my truck and try to keep it as clean as possible, meaning no scratches, dings, dents, chips, etc.
Not the worst you can get but not the best either, but there’s that price point there making up for some of that.
