ACCESS LiteRider 34199 is a complete soft roll-up tonneau cover for the 5ft 7in bed applications below. It rolls toward the cab for loading and secures open with storage straps.
Application and installation details
- Requires the RamBox bed configuration. It is a different application from a standard bed of the same nominal length.
- Uses the RamBox bolt-on rail brackets rather than the standard clamp-on mounting method. Factory tonneau rails cannot remain installed; follow the RamBox supplement for removal and cargo-rail reuse.
- The Ram 1500 Classic application ends at model year 2024; it is not a fitment claim for the redesigned Ram 1500.
Vehicle applications
| Years | Make and model | Bed and configuration |
|---|---|---|
| 2009-2010 | Dodge Ram 1500 | 5ft 7in Bed (w/ RamBox) |
| 2011-2018 | Ram 1500 | 5ft 7in Bed (w/ RamBox) (w/o OEM tonneau rails) |
| 2019-2027 | Ram 1500 | 5ft 7in Bed (w/ RamBox) (w/o OEM tonneau rails) |
| 2019-2027 | Ram 1500 (w/ Multifunction Tailgate) | 5ft 7in Bed (w/ RamBox) (w/o OEM tonneau rails) |
| 2019-2024 | Ram 1500 Classic | 5ft 7in Bed (w/ RamBox) (w/o OEM tonneau rails) |
Cover design and contents
The LiteRider design sits approximately 1-1/2 inches above the bed rails. The kit includes the cover assembly, mounting side rails, tension-adjustment hardware, cover seals and the application-specific mounting hardware. It is not replacement fabric alone.
Clamp counts and single-piece versus multi-piece rail construction vary by application and production version. Follow the appropriate manual below. A bed mat, truck rack and toolbox are not included unless explicitly described above. Drop-in bed liners can require trimming at mounting points. Extra sealant for factory bed openings is not included. The soft cover is weather resistant; it does not make the bed watertight or theft-proof.
Manufacturer photos illustrate the cover series and operation; the pictured truck may differ from the application in the table.
